Originally from South Africa, Gary Isaacson, founder of Brentwood Lending Group, brings literally a world of experience to his Branch Manager/Senior Loan Consultant position. Gary began his financial career at a large accounting firm as an audit manager in Johannesburg before transferring to San Francisco in 1989. His clients included public companies in the United States, Canada, South Africa, London, and Germany. Having a passion for real estate he later took a position as the Controller for Hal Porter Homes in Brentwood which was acquired by DR Horton, a large national homebuilder.

Having nine years of real estate finance experience, he was offered the position of Chief Financial Officer for SIFE mutual fund in Walnut Creek, a mutual fund managing up to $1.5 billion dollars in assets. After being instrumental in orchestrating a buyout with Wells Fargo, Gary integrated his finance experience, his stockbrokers and real estate licenses and joined Diablo Funding Group as a loan consultant where he eventually became a Branch Manager managing over 30 loan agents. While at Diablo Gary maintained “Chairman’s Club” status every year which is exclusive to the top 5% of all loan officers throughout Bay Area Diablo offices.

With a plethora of knowledge under his belt, Gary opened Brentwood Lending Group. With his diverse financial experience, he focuses on structuring a loan that fits a clients overall financial plan, including present and future goals.

Gary has lived in the Brentwood/Discovery Bay area for 17 years with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies are cycling, triathlons, and investing in the stock market.
